Amsterdam, Drink, Eat, 2013-11-11

Are you planning an autumn weekend in Amsterdam? Good idea!

One of the first things I think about when visiting a new city apart from a place to stay is: where to eat? There sure is a lot of choice in Amsterdam. Do you find it hard to choose where to go? Let me help you out.

Bar Moustache in the Utrechtsestraat is one of my favorite Italian addresses to have lunch or dinner. It’s the right spot to go to after a day of visiting museums, riding a bicycle or hopping from one coffee bar to another.

Visiting Bar Moustache for lunch? Try out one of their sandwiches along with one of their fresh bio juices. I tried the Golden Brown sandwich with halloumi, hummus & cresson and drank an apple ginger bio juice. Loved it!

Visiting Bar Moustache for dinner? You’re lucky, because this restaurant has also a wine bar with an excellent choice of wines. Ask one of the waiters for some advice and choose the best wine to go with your dish. They’re very helpful! I had the tortelloni verdi and the pesce del giorno.

Their dishes change together with the season so if you’re a pumpkin lover just like I am, you should pay them a visit this autumn! They have a salad with fennel sausages, pumpkin and hot peppers.

I already went there 3 times and I go back for sure to try one of their other dishes!

Love & see you next week,
