Happy birthday Why Not Monday ! Happy birthday ME !

To celebrate this joyous occasion, I decided to spend my sunday afternoon making some classic margaritas for the London squad. (After Julie stuffed my face with a mexican feast, thanks boo)
I decided to use Patrón Reposado Tequila instead of the classic Silver Patrón, it’s slightly colored but not as strong as the Añejo.
Since you’re going to need quite a bit of limejuice, I recommend starting off with that since it will take up most of your time and can get a bit messy. Unless you’re blessed to have a handy citrus juice press available to you. (birthday present anyone ?)

How do you make it?

1. Take half a lime and wet the outside of your glass to dip it in the seasalt.

2. Add 4 cl of Tequila, 4 cl of Cointreau and 4 cl of limejuice to your shaker.

3. Fill up your shaker with ice and shake well.

4. Strain your drink and finish off your glass with a lime wheel as garnish.

There you have it, a perfectly refreshing Margarita ! If you like your drinks with a little more kick, just add 5 or 6 cl of everything instead of 4. Above all, enjoy !

Love, l.
