Ho-ho-ho is that rum I taste ?
I don’t know about you but December calls for cozy cocktails and what better spirit to use than rum ? Kraken rum to be more precise !
This holiday I am using Kitchenaid’s Artisan Magnetic Blender to whirl up some quick yet fancy cocktails for you. Having never used a blender to make cocktails before I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and efficient it was. Even cleaning out the blender was a breeze. Just add some hot water, blend and voila.. clean as a whistle !
I was inspired by some pumpkin rum recipes I came across but since Julie and I are crazy about butternut squash we decided to have a go with that. Adding some pineapple juice, plenty of rum and seasoned to taste with delicious winter spices make for a perfect blend.
How do you make it?
1. Pour all ingredients into a blender and blend well.
2. Fill two rocks glasses with ice.
3. Pour the mixture over ice.
4. Garnish with a dash of cinnamon.
