Finding the perfect gift can be quite a challenging task. Especially when you don’t know the person that well or you already had to buy them a lot of gifts over the years. After a while you just don’t have any inspiration anymore. Well good news for those who live in Ghent or don’t mind going on a field trip to find that perfect gift because there you can find Piet Moodshop. The owner Christophe sells carefully chosen design pieces and nice things to decorate your house with.

The thing with Piet Moodshop is that when you walk in, you don’t know where to put your eyes first. Literally everything is beautiful. The shop mainly focuses on design – bowls, cups, plates and lamps are everywhere, but they also sell Happy Socks, little pots and plants, pillows and, probably my favorite: the Belgian magazine The Word. If you don’t know where to start you can ask the very, very nice shop owner Christophe. Having a great shop is one thing but their webshop also has the same great customer service. Thanks to a filtering tool you can get help finding your perfect gift online. Talking about being consistent in your shopping experience online and offline. Good job, Christophe!

If you’re still not convinced, they sell a lamp from Maison Martin Margiela — the lamp alone is a must see.
Cheers,
Lena
