I told you the story of the Daniel Wellington brand in our review of the Bristol. A Swedish brand inspired by a stylish English gentleman. But how is it to wear it? For these last 2 weeks I’ve been showing off my new watch.
The beautiful Sheffield for ladies is stylish and matches a lot of outfits due to it’s classic style strap. If you feel like changing the strap you can do this easily! Every DW watch comes with a pin which you can use to change straps at home. Their old school NATO straps do look cute for the summer. At first the strap felt a bit stiff but after a couple of days it is a lot more flexible. That’s what you get with good quality leather.
When it comes to the size of the watch itself, it is just as it should be. I have big hands, no really. Long fingers and quite a wide wrist. That’s why I love a watch that has a bigger case, with its 36 mm diameter it has the perfect size for a woman’s hand. It’s elegant, but not too small. Those tiny watches are super cute, but it has to fit your hand. Daniel Wellington watches are thin as well, so it might have a bigger case but it still stays minimalistic and doesn’t come across clunky as most big watches do.
The thing I love most about this watch is its rose gold colour. It’s a lot softer than gold and is a better match with my pale skin. It adds that little bit of class to your outfit. Especially when you barely wear jewelry as I do, cooking & rings are not a good match. But now I can keep better track of when my guests are arriving, because it can get quite hectic in my kitchen from time to time. I do need to be careful using it in the kitchen, because it can’t go completely under water.
