Ooh baby it’s cold outside.

Why not warm up to some of these ‘old school’ dance songs ?
Going back to Belgium for the holidays has made me a little nostalgic so this one’s for all the clubkids out there – grinding on speakers, making out in dark corners and dancing all night long.

love, l.

JUSTICE - DVNO

This french electro/house-duo took over the scene after they got big with their remix of 'Never Be Alone' by Simian Mobile Disco and got signed with Ed Banger records. I'm still a fan of their sound.

STRIP STEVE & DAS GLOW - CALCIUM

I am throwing you straight into the lion pit with this great mix by another french club/house/techno producer and DJ. This is one of those quintessential tracks that really make the night.

GESAFFELSTEIN - LA QUESTION

Now for something a little bit more mellow by, you guessed it, another french techno artist. What can I say, they've got a certain je ne sais quoi.

SHADOW DANCER - POKE

Let's take a dip across the pond and enjoy this gem by Manchester-based brothers Paul & Al Farrier. Not surprisingly their 'Golden Traxe' LP was named 'Album of the month' by Future Music.

UFFIE - POP THE GLOCK

Hot chick Uffie and DJ Feadz got together and ended up making some catchy as hell tunes. I actually enjoyed her latest album 'Sex Dreams And Denim Jeans' too that she released in 2010.

MISS KITTIN & THE HACKER - 1000 DREAMS

Ahh the french and their techno. I really enjoy the new wave vibes this one has.

ZOMBIE NATION - KERNKRAFT 400

I am leaving you with this absolute classic by Zombie Nation. A German techno and electro project of the German-based DJ and producer Florian Senfter. Kernkraft 400 was released in 1999 but has not lost its popularity since.
